When people first meet me, I am unsure what their first thoughts would be based on the first impression I give them. Honestly I suppose it depends on what my mood happens to be on that particular day. Even if I am having the worst day ever, I would try to not let my mood affect how I treat others. Today, for example I would say that I'm slightly irritable. Though that is most likely due to the fact that I have worked the past eight days straight. In fact, I am writing this from my hostess podium. Luckily it is incredibly slow, which gives me time to catch up on homework.
I usually would say that I relate more to animals rather than humans, as I have always been told that I have incredible empathy for others. I can look into the eyes of an animal and understand what they are feeling. With humans it is much more complex than that, as someone can appear to be one thing but internally be feeling something entirely different. I have enjoyed writing poetry ever since I can remember. I filled up my first notebook after just two weeks. At age fifteen I received my first piano and within a year I had mastered playing music by ear. At this point I have also began to create my own music by adding melodies to my existing poetry, made the rhymes a little more catchy and cleaned up the rough edges. Unfortunately due to my incredible shyness, to this day the only being who has ever heard me play is my cat, Rubie.
Fashion is also a big passion of mine. While I am guilty of the terrible Hollister trend from the ages of twelve to about fourteen, I can honestly say that my style choices have improved immensely since then. I like wearing things that the average person perhaps would not. My wardrobe consists of a multitude of vintage items, mixed with current pieces. I try to think outside the box with the way that I present myself to others. After all, how boring would it be if you just met a clone of the same person over and over again? I am guessing that is something that no one would truly enjoy doing. It makes me genuinely happy when I see people who are different and not afraid to express themselves.
